Members of the Monitoring Committee
The Monitoring Committee of the Operational Programme is set up with a decision of the Minister of Economy and Finance. The members of the committee are General Secretaries of various ministries, the Head of the Managing Authority of the Operational Programme “Information Society”, the President of the Information Society SA, the representative of the Observatory and various social partners.

The members of the Monitoring Committee are substituted by authorized persons only in the event of their absence or inability to attend meetings. In the case of a substitution, the deputy’s name is notified in written to the Monitoring Committee’s Secretariat.
The representatives of the European Commission’s Directorates General and of the European Investments Bank are members of the Monitoring Committee without having a right to vote.
The General and Special Secretaries of ministries and Secretariats General as well as representatives of the ultimate beneficiaries may attend the meetings of the Monitoring Committee without being entitled to vote, depending on the topics under discussion. Moreover, experts in financial, technical, social and other issues may be invited in line with the provisions of article 16(3) of Law 2860/2000.
