Electronic Communications: How safe are they?

The Technical Chamber of Greece and Athens Bar Association organize a one-day conference titled: “Electronic Communications: How safe are they?” to be held on Thursday, 1st June 2006.
The event’s purpose is to create a dialogue framework for the dissemination of New Electronic Communication Technologies in Greece, shield the security of information and communication infrastructures, ensure the safety of electronic transactions, guarantee the protection of citizens personal rights and enrich the legislative framework governing the operation of information and communications systems.
The following topics define the general reference framework of the Conference’s works:
- Protection of Privacy
- Safety of infrastructures
- Relevant oncoming technologies
- Electronic crime
The 1-day conference is organized in the lecture hall of the Ministry of Transport and Communication (2 Anastaseos & Tsigade, Papagou, Athens).
