Electronic Governance against Corruption and Misadministration

The Technical Chamber of Greece (ΤΕΕ) co-organizes with the General Inspector of Public Administration and together with the participation of Pan-Hellenic Association of Computer Engineers (PSDMHYP), an Information Event with the subject matter: “Electronic Governance against Corruption and Misadministration” to be held in ESPERIA PALACE Hotel on Thursday, June 29th 2006.
The Event’s scope is to promote the role of electronic governance systems in the auditing mechanisms of the state with a direct impact on the quality and consistency of the works and services offered by the State to citizens.
Moreover, the role of the service of the General Inspector of Public Administration and of Engineers in the procedures of audit and corruption’s confrontation will be promoted.
The issues to be analyzed will be the following:
The role of the service of the General Inspector of Public Administration and of Engineers in the procedures of audit and corruption’s confrontation will be promoted. More specifically, the role of Computer and Communications Engineers in the smooth, safe and effective operation of electronic governance systems and in the utilization of audit opportunities, good governance and confrontation of corruption will be addressed.
The Steering Committee of the Information Event will be comprised of:
