Following the successful workshop in Beijing, China, the W3C is organizing a second workshop on Internationalizing the Speech Synthesis Markup Language (SSML) on 30-31 May. The venue is the Foundation for Research & Technology (FORTH) in Heraklion, Crete, where the W3C is represented.

The participants will identify and set priorities for the expansion of SSML to improve its range of applications in the context of languages other than English.
