The consultations about the new Digital Strategy 2006-2013, which had started last July, were completed on the 30th of November 2005 with a large participation of the public institutions and of the citizens. The new Digital Strategy was the topic of discussion during three conferences organized in Athens and in Thessalonica. The participation of the citizens and of the public institutions via email and correspondence was very high.

The IT Committee and the Special Secretariat of the Ministry of Health agreed on a new plan for the implementation of "IASYS".

During the meeting that took place on the 6th of September 2004, the Intraparty Committee approved the tender for subproject 1 of the National Network of Public Administration - Sizefxis. The objective of the approved subproject is to provide the Ministries, General Secretariats, Managing Authorities and Recruitment Offices, of the regions, with a network of distribution and access.

The Information Technology Committee, the country’s highest institutional body for strategy planning and IT development, started the consultation about the proposal for the digital strategy for the period 2006-2013.

During the three meetings that took place in the month of June (11.06, 16.06, and 24.06) the Committee for strategy planning and IT development, examined the issues related to the development of IT in the country and to the implementation of the Operational Program for the Information Society and set the framework for the required interventions.
