The statutory objectives of the Company are the following: |
- Provision of support (without receiving any consideration) to Ultimate Beneficiaries of OPIS.
- Undertaking (as the “Ultimate Beneficiary”) of the implementation of actions/ measures including technical assistance actions for the Programme’s support.
- Management and productive operation of the information and communication systems of Public Administration following a concession decision of the minister of IAPAD.
- Transfer of know-how for the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) projects to the Public Sector.

The Company’s current structure includes three sectors and its organizational chart is as follows:

The Company’s staff presently consists of 69 people which were gradually hired in accordance with its evolution and is separated in 3 Directors, 5 executives of the Programming Office, 50 Scientific Executives, and 11 Administrative Employees.

The executives of IS S.A. have a high level of professional skills and experience and most of them are University Graduates and Postgraduates. They come both from the private sector and public sector (by means of detachment). Most of them are between 30 and 35 years old.

- Provision of consultation services to the project Owner

- Total support in the agreement’s monitoring and management
- Methodological planning of the project implementation’s monitoring (Monitoring and Acceptance Committee, Groups of users)
- Monitoring of critical parameters and obligations arising from the agreement’s implementation
- Implementation of technical expertise on special issues regarding the project
- Implementation of studies with regard to management of the Operator’s changes
- Evaluation of intermediate or final deliverables
- Development of audit scenarios and intermediate evaluation of the project
- Technical support services for specific actions or implementation phases during the life cycle of an Information and Communication Technologies project
- Planning and implementation of information programmes and programmes fro the sensitization of end users and public opinion.
- Planning and implementation of education/ training programmes for users.
