The Information Society S.A. advises: a) last week the company announced five open procedure competitions for the most economic bids, b) Contract for the project “Electronic Urban Planning – A System for Electronic Monitoring and Management of Information and Processes relating to Urban Planning Services” has been executed.

In particular, the following Competitions were announced

• Friday 17/03/2006: project “Design and Development of a System for Automating the Procedures concerning the Management, Filling and Dissemination of Legislation to the Public on a subscribers’ base and the Procedure for Assessing Regulations”
• Saturday 18/03/2006: project “Technical Support Services for the Project ‘Electronic Urban Planning: Planning Legislation & Citizen Information System’.”
• Wednesday 22/03/2006: project for the General Secretariat of Public Administration: “Technical Support System for the O.P. Information Society Projects”
• Tursday 23/03/2006: project “Procurement of Equipment & Software; Development of Applications for the Telematics Center – Installation of structured cabling in the main offices of ADEDY in Athens & Thessaloniki – Digitization of ADEDY’s records»
• Friday 24/03/2006: project “Assigning of the Unique Social Insurance Numbers to the total of non-registered insurance beneficiaries and pensioners and enhancement of the ‘EMAES’ (National Register of S.I. beneficiaries, employers, and pensioners) functional modalities”

Finally, the company announced that it has executed the Contract for the project “Electronic Urban Planning - A System for Electronic Monitoring and Management of Information and Processes relating to Urban Planning Services” with companies SINGULAR INTEGRATOR SA and UNISYSTEMS SA.

This project aims to improve the operation of Urban Planning Services in the country. The contractual period is 18 months and the contractors’ fee amounts to €2,589,303.38, including VAT.
