Within the framework of its mission the Monitoring Committee (MC) takes the following actions:

• It confirms and adjusts the planning supplement including the indices to be used in its monitoring as well as approves any adaptation to be made in the future.

• It examines and approves the selection criteria of the actions that are financed on the basis of each measure at the time.
• It regularly evaluates the progress that is made with regard to the achievement of the programme’s objectives.
•  It examines the results of the implementation and especially fulfillment of objectives/ goals that have been set out for the various measures and it also examines the intermediate evaluation.
• It examines and approves the annual and final implementation report before sent to the Commission.
• It examines and approves proposals for the programme’s amendments relating to the participation of funds, with reserve to the competencies of the European Commission and CSF’s Monitoring Committee.
• It proposes to the operational programme’s managing authority any adjustment or re-examination of the programme which may contribute to the achievement of the operational programme’s objectives or improve its management.
