The Portuguese InfoSoc Operational Programme 2000-2006 consists of 3 priorities and Technical Assistance and includes 9 measures with a total budget of € 625.2 million.

In the case of Spain, the Information Society is covered by the Knowledge-based Society Operational Programme as sub-programme 7 with a total budget of € 969.3 million. The programme includes 6 measures and Technical Assistance. 

The comparative position of three countries, Greece, Spain and Portugal whose cases were presented in the previous chapters comes out from the qualitative comparison of their operational programmes and the policies applied by those in conjunction with the quantitative comparison of the programmes based on the three categorizations in intervention fields – policy goals.
