The procedure for implementing the InfoSoc Operational Programme includes publishing calls for proposals and auditing / controlling operations / projects. The procedures for including and signing contracts for operations seeks to uniformly apply a set of measures and procedures to the selection and inclusion of projects seeking financing under the InfoSoc OP.

The direct and indirect supervision of the projects’ progress is achieved through the continuous contact and cooperation with the representatives of the Implementation Institutions and with the Managers of the projects.

In order to achieve the goals of the IS, the procedures for the Projects’ Financing include national and European resources. At the national level, the financing comes from the Program of Public Investments and at the European level from the Structural Funds of the EU, that is, the European Social Fund (ESF) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In accordance with Law 2860/2000, article 4, paragraph 3, the Managing Authorities, with the decision of the competent minister, set up committees or work groups with the participation of experts which assist their work. More specifically, the scope of work of these groups is to provide the Special Services with help in specialized issues.
