Measure 2.1: E-government for providing services for the citizen: operational plans, studies, pilot plans
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 5 invitations of a total budget of 49,781,699€, were published in Measure 2.1. More specifically, in 2004, 1 invitation was published for the submission of proposals by the potential Ultimate Beneficiaries (Information Society SA) of a total budget of 11,738,812€. The invitation concerned the submission of proposals in the 3rd category of acts “Pilot and innovative applications” in the framework of Measure 2.1.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 53 projects, of a total budget of 22.94 m€, were integrated. More specifically, 13 projects, of a total budget of 11,131,479 €, were integrated in 2004. Indicatively we mention the projects: “Information System of City Planning and Zoning Data for the Citizen”, “Planning & development of infrastructures & advanced services for the implementation of e-University”, “Planning & development of infrastructures and advanced services for the implementation of e-school” and “Planning and development of pilot infrastructures and advanced services of Grid computational systems”.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 5,898,420€ , and in 2004, to 2,210,625€. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 4,009,507€ and in 2004 to 1,062,148€.
Measure 2.2: E-government for providing services for the citizen
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 4 invitations of a total budget of 407,000,000€, were published in Measure 2.2. More specifically, in 2004, 2 new invitations were published concerning actions of the 4th category of acts “Actions concerning the regional development and administration” and, more specifically, the supply of basic information and telecommunications equipment for the Prefectural Authorities of the country, with the exception of the South Eastern area of the region of Attica, as well as of the 5th category of acts “Actions concerning the provision of administrative services for the citizen”, with a total budget of 24,000,000 €.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 335 projects, of a total budget of 368.56 m€, were integrated. More specifically, 115 projects, of a total budget of 18,481,288€, were integrated in 2004. Indicatively we mention the projects: “Installation of information systems and modernisation of administrative courts”, “Modernisation of the information systiem of the Council of State”, 108 Citizen Service Centres”, “Development and application of information systems of Prefectural Authorities: Operational trade and societe anonyme area” and “Development and application of information systems of Prefectural Authorities: Operational industrial and mineral area”.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 163,574,450 € , and in 2004, to 72,796,954 €. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 75,782,036 € and in 2004 to 40,554,743 €.
Measure 2.3: Support in the Management of the Structural Fund resources and the transition to Euro
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 3 invitations of a total budget of 60,000,000€, were published in Measure 2.3. No new invitations were published in 2004.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 88 projects, of a total budget of 25.95 m€, were integrated. More specifically, no new projects were integrated in 2004.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 16,920,721€ , and in 2004, to 1,264,758 €. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 14,080,932 € and in 2004 to 1,331,550 €.
Measure 2.4: Regional Geographic Information Systems and innovative actions
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 15 invitations of a total budget of 72,835,000€, were published in Measure 2.4. More specifically, in 2004, 1 invitation was published about the submission of proposals by the potential Ultimate Beneficiaries of a total budget of 1,850,000€. The invitation concerned the setting up of an e-university in the regions of Southern and Northern Aegean and the Ultimate Beneficiary was the University of the Aegean.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 223 projects, of a total budget of 20.97 m€, were integrated. More specifically, 219 projects, of a total budget of 4,654,171€, were integrated in 2004 and concerned the “Supply of computational and networking equipment of information technology laboratories”.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 674,900 € , and in 2004, 359,900 €. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 152,613 € which were declared in 2004.
Measure 2.5: Training of the human resources of public administration, support studies for its modernisation
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 2 invitations of a total budget of 96,000,000€, were published in Measure 2.5. No new invitations were published in 2004.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 37 projects, of a total budget of 20.55 m€, were integrated. More specifically, 7 acts/ projects, of a total budget of 7,092,008€, were integrated in 2004. Indicatively we mention the projects: “Development of administrative work skills in a digital environment of Information and Communication Technologies”, “Development of executives for the support and implementation of e-learning in public administration (educators, organizers, technicians etc)”.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 4,639,402 € , and in 2004, to 3,085,095 €. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 1,112,710 € and 267,843 € in 2004.
Measure 2.6: Information and communication technologies in health and welfare
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 2 invitations of a total budget of 107,397,946€, were published in Measure 2.6. More specifically, in 2004, 1 new invitation was published, of a total budget of 8,800,000 €, with Ultimate Beneficiary the Information Society SA. The invitation concerned the 1st category of acts “Infrastructures and systems of distributing information” and the 3rd “Development of information systems for the elderly and people with special needs”.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 23 projects, of a total budget of 81.39 m€, were integrated. More specifically, 5 acts/ projects, of a total budget of 14,114,779€, were integrated in 2004. Indicatively we mention the projects: “Integrated information health system of the region of Crete”, “Integrated information health system of the 1st Regional System of Health and Welfare of Attica”, “Health network of the Regional System of Health and Welfare of the Peloponnese”.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 7,276,173 € , and in 2004, to 913,615 €. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 5,032,222 € and 3,211,798 € in 2004.
Measure 2.7: Training and institutional measures in health and welfare
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 1 invitation of a total budget of 9,257,000€, was published in Measure 2.7. No new invitations were published in 2004.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 18 projects, of a total budget of 4.54 m€, were integrated. More specifically, 5 projects, of a total budget of 1,170,000€, were integrated in 2004. Indicatively we mention the projects: “Actions for educating & training the users of Information and Communication Technologies of the health units of the 1st Regional System of Health and Welfare of Attica” and “Actions for training in health and welfare for the Regional System of Health and Welfare of Thessaly”.
No legal commitments were signed in the specific Measure and, consequently, no expenses were declared.
Measure 2.8: “Intelligent” transports
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 2 invitations of a total budget of 102,608,218€, were published in Measure 2.8. More specifically, in 2004, 1 invitation was published, of a total budget of 11,738,812€, concerning the 1st category of acts “Strengthening of management services of transport and information in the field of road, sea and fixed track transportation of people and goods – merchandise”, in the framework of Measure 2.8.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 10 projects, of a total budget of 61.38 m€, were integrated. More specifically, 1 project, of a total budget of 1,797,288€, was integrated in 2004 , “Communication, telematic management and programming system of the transport project of the Directorate of Cleaning Services, Municipality of Athens”.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 3,254,300 € , and they were all signed in 2004. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 1,489,911 € and were all declared in 2004.
Measure 2.9: Infrastructure of data and information technology for a modern cadastre
Measure 2.9 was not activated in 2004 since it is a new Measure.
