Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 46 projects of a total budget of 609.62 m€ were integrated in Axis 3. In 2004, 3 acts/ projects, of a total budget of 54,485,185 € were integrated.
| Measure 3.1: Creation of a favourable digital environment |

Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 7 invitations of a total budget of 82,243,000€, were published in Measure 3.1. More specifically, in 2004, 2 invitations were published, of a total budget of 15,000€ for submission of proposals by the potential Ultimate Beneficiaries. The invitations concerned the following act categories:
- 3rd action category “Strengthening of support structures of small and medium sized enterprises” and, more specifically, sub-category 2 “Strengthening of sectoral or local projects of providing e-commerce services to small and medium sized enterprises (creation of e-marketplaces, e-exhibitions, mini portals etc) by public bodies or other social, union and professional bodies”.
- 5th action category “Energy”
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 26 projects, of a total budget of 42.41 m€, were integrated concerning pilot actions and study for electronic procurement, the electronic entrepreneurship forum, the trademark certification, the development of an information system, the standardisation of quality and information as well as the integrated geo-information system.
More specifically, 1 project, of a total budget of 900,000€, was integrated in 2004 with the title “Integrated system of energy policy application”.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 6,652,082 € , and in 2004, to 2,443,678 €. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 2,668,433 € and 1,729,156 € in 2004.

Measure 3.2: Strengthening of enterprises for their introduction in digital economy

Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 8 invitations of a total budget of 384,719,585€, were published in Measure 3.2. More specifically, in 2004, 1 invitation was published about the submission of proposals by the potential Ultimate Beneficiaries (Ministry of Development and supervised bodies, Information Society SA) of a total budget of 50,219,585€. The invitation concerned the 1st act of category “Strengthening of Small and Medium sized enterprises for their introduction in e-business”.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 5 projects, of a total budget of 382.33 m€, were integrated. More specifically, 1 act/ project, of a total budget of 49,585,185€, was integrated in 2004, titled “GO-ONLINE B’ cycle)”.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 289,780,583 € , and in 2004, 158,098,396 €. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 27,452,251 € and 16,016,482 € in 2004.

Measure 3.3: Research and technological development for the Information Society

Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 5 invitations of a total budget of 63,162,000€, were published in Measure 3.3. More specifically, no new invitations were published in 2004.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 7 projects, of a total budget of 62.50m€, were integrated. More specifically, 1 project, of a total budget of 4,000,000 €, was integrated in 2004, titled “National research and technology information system/ Organisation and diffusion of digital content for R&D – B’ phase”.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 57,510,068 € , and in 2004, to 6,507,320 €. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 19,803,611 € and 10,519,570 € in 2004.

Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 4 invitations of a total budget of 147,000,000€, were published about the submission of proposals by the potential Ultimate Beneficiaries (Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance and supervised bodies, Greek Manpower Employment Organisation [OAED], Information Society SA). No new invitations were published in 2004.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 4 projects, of a total budget of 109.54 m€, were integrated. No new projects were integrated in 2004.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 48,518,187 € , and no new one was signed in 2004. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 35,365,875 € and 23,869,424 € in 2004.

Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 6 invitations of a total budget of 83,630,000 €, were published about the submission of proposals by the potential Ultimate Beneficiaries. More specifically, in 2004, 2 invitations were published of a total budget of 28,600,000€. The invitations concerned the 2nd action category “Promotion of entrepreneurship with the use of Information and Communication technologies”, of Measure 3.5.
Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 4 projects, of a total budget of 12.84 m€, were integrated. No new projects were integrated in 2004.
The legal commitments signed correspond accumulatively (2000-2004) to 9,614,342 € , and in 2004, to 275,614 €. The expenses of the Measure come up accumulatively to (2000-2004) 5,501,150€ and 207,689 € in 2004.
