Measure 5.1: Management, application and monitoring

The invitations published in Measure 5.1 since the beginning until 31/12/2004 concerned:

• The preparation, selection, evaluation, monitoring and assessment of the intervention and the acts of the Operational Programme, management & application structures of the Operational Programme.
• The support of audits and act controls.
• Experts being brought in and the provision of relevant services for the support of the monitoring committee and technical meetings.

Two (2) Technical Reports for the projects, of a total budget of 318,000 € were submitted. Since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004, 9 projects were integrated of a total budget of 3,305,562.00 €. No new projects were integrated in 2004. However, from an evaluation of the Technical Reports for the projects/ sub-projects submitted in 2003, 1 project was integrated, of a total budget of 1,227,200.00 €. An existing project was also modified with an increase in the budget of 149,242.00 €.

Measure 5.2: Technical assistance, European Social Fund

The invitations published in Measure 5.2 since the beginning until 31/12/2004 concerned:

• The support of the programme application with the use of studies, meetings and training seminars.
• Horizontal studies, as well as studies, expert opinions and consultancy services which will constitute a means for the maturing and further integration of acts in the framework of the Operational Programme “Information Society”.
• Publicity and promotion of actions of the Operational Programme “Information Society”.

Eighteen (18) Technical Reports of Projects were submitted, of a total budget of 5,874,635.50 €. The projects integrated since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004 were 16, of a total budget 15,934,230.35 €. Four (4) projects were integrated in 2004, of a total budget of 4,713,000.00 €. One (1) of the them, of a total budget of 2,000,000 €, concerns studies, one (1), of a total budget of 1,800,000 €, concerns publicity and promotion and the last two (2), of a total budget of 913,000 €, concern support.

Measure 5.3: Technical Assistance European Regional Development Fund

The invitations published since the beginning until 31/12/2004 in Measure 5.3 concerned: 

    1. The installation and operation of information systems for the management, monitoring and evaluation of the actions of the Operational Programme.  
    2. Contributions and participations in conferences and (Greek and international) exhibitions with the aim of providing information.
    3. Evaluation of the actions and the projects of the programme.
    4. Financing of the management and application structures of the Operational Programme Information Society SA and the Observatory for the Information Society and, more specifically, for the:

• Creation of places, purchasing and maintaining of office and mechanical equipment
• Operation (personnel payment, fixed costs, travel expenses, rents etc)
• Provision of information by the Information Society Sa for the project implementation bodies co-financed by the Operational Programme.
• Preparation of studies and consultancy services as regards the various aspects of the Information Society. 

Eight (8) Technical Reports of Projects were submitted, of a total budget of 708,000.00 €. The projects integrated since the beginning of the programme until 31/12/2004 are 18, of a total budget of 17,490,440 €. Three (3) projects were integrated in 2004, of a total budget of 275,000.00 €. All three projects concern the support of the Ultimate Beneficiaries.
