Since late 2001, e-Business W@tch has been monitoring the use of ICT in more than 20 sectors of the EU economy. This conference (Brussels, 30 January 2007) presents findings of some of the recent sector studies of 2006.

Presentations and the discussion will focus on implications of the observed trends and developments for firms, industries and policy, against the background of the renewed Lisbon objectives and the new industrial policy.

The e-Business W@tch Conference addresses, in particular, industry representatives, policy officials, business support organisations and consultants, and researchers from economic and ICT-related fields.
