MUSE is a large integrated R&D project on Broadband Access. The Telecom world is moving very fast, with wireless and wireline networks converging to provide end to end solutions.

This new landscape triggers a revision of networking technologies as well as the appearance of new techniques and actors.

By means of the MUSE Season Schools, the new knowledge produced within the project is shared with the public. The objective is to offer R&D professionals in telecommunications and students the opportunity to get from key researchers in Europe the latest state of play in this field.

Within the 6th Framework Programme, MUSE contributes to the strategic objective "Broadband for All" of the Information Society Technologies (IST) programme and it is partially funded by the European Commission.
