Measure 4.1 aims at the market’s deregulation and competition’s growth for the improvement of the operation of the regulatory agencies and the smooth operation of competition within a free market of telecommunications.
Measure 4.2. aims at the development of telecommunications local access network infrastructures, including small cities and non-urban or distant areas for the provision of key broadband services.
Measure 4.3 aims at the introduction of new telecommunications technologies in the every day life of citizens developing at the same time advanced telecommunications services to support applications throughout the whole range of economy and society.
Measure 4.4 aims through a specific action plan at the development and modernization of post offices infrastructures and promotion of post offices into multi-dimensional centers in line with the market deregulation in the sector of postal services.
Measure 4.5 aims at the training of the executive staff of the Ministry of Transport and Communications / Communications Secretariat General (ΥΜΕ/GGE), of the National Telecommunications and Post Commission (ΕΕΤΤ) and of the other regulatory agencies on cutting-edge telecommunication technologies and applications issues.
Measure 4.6 aims at the development and utilization of ELTA’s human resources, particularly in the region, through education and ongoing training so as it is ensured that changes do take place in the mentality, organizational structure and technological base of ELTA.
